1.  A United States Citizen

     Born on the island of Puerto Rico, a territory of the United States.

2.  She Grew Up in a Lower-Class Family

     They moved from Puerto Rico to New York, then to Los Angeles, California, and experienced financial and family hardships.

3.  She’s a staunch Conservative

     Raised in a strict conservative household, both parents were disciplinarians.

4.  She’s a Well-Seasoned Christian

     Focused on God in all of her endeavors, and loves her family.

5.  She’s a Populist Conservative

     Aligns with the U.S. Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, the Federalist Papers, and the Magna Carta and American conservatism characterized by respect for American traditions, moral absolutism, free markets, free trade, anti-communism, anti-socialism, individualism, and American exceptionalism.

6.  Her Grandparents Were Democrats

     Like many on the island in the late 20th century, Ms. Rivera’s grandparents were in agriculture, owned farms, and were Democrats.

7.  Her Father a proud veteran of the U.S Army

     She learned the value of loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity, and personal courage; and lives up to them every day of her life.  Her mother, a self-made business owner,  accomplished earning her Masters in business, and her father who went from farming to working in the aerospace industry before his retirement.

8.  She Has achieved high academic success and earned the following degrees

     Master in Negotiation, Conflict Resolution and Peacebuilding

     Master Courses (1 year) in Public Administration and Public Policy

     Master Courses (1 year) in Labor Relations

     Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration- dual major in Marketing and Management

     Bachelor of Arts in Political Science- International Relations

     Two-year Professional Certification in Motion Picture and Television

     Two-year Professional Certification in Broadcasting and Entertainment

9.  She Was Appointed/Selected by The University President

     As a recent graduate student in the Negotiations, Conflict Resolutions and Peacebuilding Program, she collaborated with the Department of Academic Affairs in putting together the 6-10-year Strategic Plan increasing the university's accessibility and affordability to all students

10.  She Has A Conservative Voting Record

     She worked as a volunteer in numerous California political campaigns throughout her lifetime, and she is no stranger to public administration, public policy and laws  

11.   She Was Selected by The Governor of Puerto Rico

     She represented the island at The Washington Center in the Presidential Leadership Program while doing a Fellowship working with Congressman Baca.

12.    She Is A Futurist, Ready to Uphold and Protect
